“So…. what do you do on a daily basis?”
That is a question I get often. Today I thought I’d show you! Let’s begin. I chose Sunday because 1.) it’s my rest day and 2.) I am most productive on these days when I’m not watching football or hanging out with friends.
7:00: I am a naturally early riser, so I woke up to a pile of notecards. This was a sign for me to study, so I sat in bed and chugged some water while studying for marine biology (so. much. bacteria)
8:00: I love taking an hour everyday to drink my coffee and catch up on my social media. Today there was an early football game (shoutout to the international series), so I got to enjoy my coffee WITH football and not just pre-game analysis! Score.
9-9:30: I worked on some blog stuff and got inspiration for recipes and posts. I love writing everything down in this handy notebook (that, plus my planner, goes everywhere with me).
10:00: Yeah, I eat breakfast late. I’m disappointed in myself too. I enjoyed some oatmeal with frozen fruit, ground chia, and almond butter! I had this while watching football, duh.
10:45-12:00: I have my guitar lessons on Sunday, so I didn’t snap a photo of that. Fun fact- I’ve been playing guitar for almost ten years!
12:00-12:45: I got ready for a meeting and studied some more, naturally.
1:00-3:00: I was at a meeting for a tennis tournament I’m working at over thanksgiving break, so I naturally packed some snacks 😉 These RXBARS are a current obsession of mine, and I can’t pick a favorite flavor!
Also took an iced coffee with cashew milk & stevia for a mid-day pick me up, plus some lemon water.
3:30: Came home HANGRY, and whipped up this bad boy. All it is is plain greek yogurt with Purely Elizabeth granola and some fresh fruit. Caught up on the football I missed while I ate this before I studied (of course).
4:00-5:00: Spent an hour studying for the SAT, bio, history, etc. I feel like a trend of mine is studying, but for good reason. (lol @ junior year)
5:00-6:00: Whipped up some dinner that involved me cutting stuff up and sticking it in the oven. Simple and easy. I meal prepped some cut veggies and protein for the week while they cooked, as well as my lunch for the next day!
Plus a ton of veggies and avocado. I also had some Siggi’s and rice cakes with hummus on the side!
6:00-6:30: Ate my dinner (roasted veggies, potatoes, baked tempeh, avocado, mustard) and watched my Packers (sadly) lose to the Broncos. 🙁
6:30-7:30: STUDIED MORE SURPRISE SURPRISE
7:30-8:00: Planned out my week and talked to my friends while watching (you guessed it)- football.
8:00: My classic night snack of puffed gamut, frozen fruit, and EatPastry cookie dough with cinnamon. It’s been a staple in my diet for weeks!
I went to bed around nine as I had to get up early for school the next day. What do you do in your daily routine?
