TGID- THANK GOD IT’S DECEMBER!!!!!!!!
I am a die hard christmas fan, and I start my count down every year around July. This month is very stressful school wise, but it’s all worth it knowing I get a two week break and I get to be a crazy Christmas fan the entire month. I’ve decided to make these “Day in My Life’s” monthly because I truly enjoy doing them! Let’s begin
3:55: Wake up and workout (yes, I am that person).
4:50-5:10: Get ready (Shower, makeup, hair, you know-girl things). I love listening to sports podcasts while I get ready- it makes it 20x more enjoyable. My favorite is Around the NFL, The Bill Simmons Podcast, Jalen and Jacoby, and Dave Dameshek.
5:10-5:30: Do some studying. Today I was reviewing for my math quiz I have this week. These twenty minutes make a huge difference for me!
5:30-6:10: Catch up on blogs, sports news, and social media. This is what I call “coffee time”- I have my excessive amounts of coffee and relax before the day truly begins.
Fact- I cannot drink my coffee hot and without a straw. It has to be iced and with a straw or I won’t have it. I like my coffee black with a bit of stevia shaken in, if you’re wondering 😉
6:10-6:50: Make & photograph breakfast. Today’s breakfast- gingerbread egg white oats (duh) with fresh berries & cranberries, goji berries, coconut chips, pistachios, Purely Elizabeth granola, hemp hearts, and some PB2. Such a winner, and in the top ten of best oats I’ve ever had.
I continue to listen to my podcast or start a new one while I make breakfast as well!
6:50-7:10: Eat my breakfast while I watch NFL Network (double duh), and reply to comments / do more social media browsing.
That while glob you see is some greek yogurt that I added on afterwards. I love the taste of it with hot oatmeal- the combo is out of this world!
7:10-7:30: Drive to school, and slowly cry because of that 😉
7:30-8:00: Hang out with my friends.
8:00-9:20: Go to first or second period. It’s either marine biology or free period, so I don’t dread it 😉
9:20-10:45: 3rd or 4th period. These classes go by slow manly because it’s right before lunch and the hunger is starting to stick 😉
10:45-11:30: Lunch- FINALLY. I took these photos at home because I knew I would forget at school 😉
A sweet potato buddha bowl (recipe coming soon!) that I photographed on Sunday and packed for today. I love blogging because it gives me tons of leftovers 😉
A Siggi’s Pumpkin & Spice (favorite flavor!!!) yogurt for some sweetness afterwards.
11:30-1:35: More school related things. Nothing too exciting!
1:35-3:00: FINAL PERIOD- FINALLY. In-between 5th and 7th period, I usually snack on some veggies and hummus to keep my tied over until I get home. Today’s choice was some everything hummus and cucumber.
3:00-3:20: Drive home!!! (My excitement is through the roof)
3:30-5:30: My excitement dies down once I prep my snack and start doing homework / stuDYING. Todays study snack was another Siggi’s (two today- I know, I’m obsessed 😉 )
Lets NOT talk about my nails. I haven’t painted them in a solid two weeks 🙁
5:30-6:00: Prep dinner.I got so HANGRY after tons of homework (naturally), so some homemade turkey chili (recipe coming soon!) did the trick. Paired it with some toasted bread, avocado, and chedder cheese on top. I had two bowls of this- it’s soooooooo addictive!! I was dealing with a massive headache and some neck pains this night, but this helped for sure!
6:00-6:30: Ate dinner and caught up on social media while watching some Monday Night Football (duh) 😉
6:30-7:15ish: Study for the SAT. Taking it again this Saturday (I’m a horrible test taker but I got my best score ever on my November exam, but I’m retaking it to improve my math section). I couldn’t really do much because of my headache tho, so I stopped.
7:15-8:00: My mom saw how miserable I was from studying all night while sick, so she made me stop and wanted me to decorate the Christmas tree. Such a sweetheart 😉
8:00: Had my usual cereal combo (forgot to photograph 🙁 ) while I watched the end of the football game.
8:40: Off to bed! I wake up really early so I go to bed really early, naturally.
