1.) I wanted to apologize for my lack of WIAT’s recently- school is kicking into full gear with tests, studying, and more. I simply do not have the brain capacity to handle the Panic of 1907 and remembering to take photos of the four afternoon snacks I eat.
2.) I am a very “routine” person, so you’ll notice everything is down to the minute. I’m very OCD about it, but it keeps me sane!
3.) My days aren’t that interesting, unless you count “studying” to be a fun past time. But anyways- enjoy!
3:45: Wake up and work out. I’ve explained this before, but I like to wake up before school and workout. It’s a great way to start the day, and yeah yeah yeah, I may be tired t first, but then I have no excuse to skip my workout later in the day. I do some cardio, but really focus on strength training (yay for actually following New Year’s Revolutions!)
4:45-5:20ish: Get ready. I love listening to a nice Podcast when I do this, and naturally, it’s always sports related (duh). Today I listened to Jalen and Jacoby while doing so, in case you’re wondering 😉 I also clean my room because we all know the motivation goes way down once I get home.
5:20-5:55: COFFEE TIME AKA MY FAVORITE TIME. I love taking this time to catch up on my social medias, watch Netflix, and of course, drink coffee 😉 It’s my “me” time of the day, and I never allow myself to think about school during this time.
Fact: I can’t drink my coffee when it isn’t iced and I always use a straw… creature of habit, whoops.
School uniforms allow me to channel my inner east coast prep, and I secretly love it!
5:55-6:30: Make breakfast- aka the best meal of the day 😉 I swear my Instagram and blog has turned me into such a breakfast person, but I’m not complaining! Today was oatmeal, yes yes, what a surprise.
Very excited about my oats 😉
6:30-7:10: Photograph and eat my breakfast. Now that it’s light earlier in the morning, I can enjoy my breakfast (aka not shove it down my throat in five minutes) and get a decent photo- double win!! I always watch NFL Network while I eat, but that’s old news 😉
7:10-7:30: Drive to school and blast Taylor Swifts Fearless album. That album is one of the only things that can pump me up before school (the other being a Bill Simmons podcast but I listen to those while I make breakfast or get ready).
7:30-8:00: I usually meet with teachers before school because I’m always busy after school. If we’re being honest, it’s ALWAYS my math teacher (yeah, not a math person…)
8:00-10:45: 1st and 3rd period (or 2nd and 4th, depending on the day). Today I had a project due and a math test (yeah, lets not talk about the math test…)
10:45-12:15: Lunch time and “purpose period” (aka a 45 minute mandatory free period that I am NOT complaining about). For lunch, I had avocado toast on Food for Life Ezekiel Bread, a Chobani yogurt (only yogurt we had 🙁 ), a cheese stick (x2), and some sparkling water!
12:15-3:00: 5th and 7th period… joy. During 7th period, I had my usual carrots and hummus with another cheese stick because #hangry
3:00-3:30: Drive home, and listen to ESPN radio. My favorite radio show happens at 3:00, so it’s perfect timing!
3:30-5:15: Afternoon snacking on a peach and yogurt (forgot to photograph, but it was just plain greek yogurt mixed with granola and cinnamon) and some very stressful APUSH studying. Fun times man!!
5:15-6:00: Make dinner and study while everything cooking. Tonight I just ate some left over baked tempeh, roasted kale, and a whooollleeeee bunch of streamed veggies with some avocado, hummus, and homemade falafel (recipe’s coming soon!!)
6:00-7:45: Eat dinner and STUDIE more. It was the night before my test, so I was a tad (very big understatement) bit stressed…
7:45-8:30: Night time snack and get ready for bed. I ate m usual cereal (puffed kamut) with some popcorn and frozen berries + cinnamon… classic!
That was a typical school day… studying, stressing, eating. I promise I’ll be back with my normal WIAT’s once school calms down next week 😉 Also- I would like to apologize for my lack of meal taking today… I’m very forgetful when I’m stressed 🙁
