Hello June, what do you have in store for us? May was a stressful month for me to say the least… I had finals for school, and I basically spent the last weekend of April into everyday of May studying for them. Lets hope I did well on them! As you’re reading this, I’m actually in PARIS with my mom, so I’ll be doing a post about my trip when I get back. But for now- lets get on into my favorites!
1.) New camelback- I lost three at Coachella (I really have no excuse) and am determined not to lose this one. I drink about five-six of these a day, and I’m obsessed with the color. Picked it up on sale at Target (!!!) and do not regret it at all.
2.) Almond Butter- I HAVE HOPPED ON THE NUT BUTTER TRAIN AND AM NEVER GOING BACK. Completely obsessed with almond butter, and I can’t go a day without it (is that bad?) All the flavored ones are soooo expensive, so I buy a regular, creamy jar from the store and add extracts like maple, coconut, and vanilla- adds a ton of flavor and saves me around $10! Almonds have been an obsession of mine recently- as you saw in my granola recipe and in a Saturday Obsessions I did!
3.) White Sweet Potatoes- So so so tasty, and is a nice twist on the regular sweet potato.
4.) New Nikes- I’m a big fan of the Nike 5.0 Free Runs (I have another pair) and decided that my two year old ones were in need of an upgrade. Ordered these on amazon, and they were on sale for $50 (ORIGINALLY $120!!!!). Best purchase I’ve ever made.
5.) “More Than A Game”- As a die hard football fan and one of the biggest sports fan you will ever meet, this book is one of the best I’ve ever read. I can’t put it down, and always find time to read it during the day at some point. I will admit that you have to have a vast knowledge of football before you read the book, as it uses a lot of terminology that people who don’t watch football would not understand. It has depend my love for the sport by a great measure, and I will defiantly be re-reading it.
6.) Sports playoffs- They were in full swing this month, and I took full advantage!
7.) This combo- Hopped on the avocado, poached egg, and ezekiel bread train and I’m never going back. So satisfying and delicious.
Hope you all had a great month! See you next time!
