Blood type: almond butter.
I’m an almond butter > peanut butter gal. Well, my wallet isn’t, so it makes that kind of hard.
Recently, I got back from sleepaway camp, where I was a counselor for ten teenage girls. If there’s anything I learned from that week its a.) I love that place more than anything in the world and b.) I can’t go a day without nut butter. I forgot to pack some for breakfasts, and I was very sad to find out the only thing they had was Skippy PB (not about the added ingredients life). So, I sat there at breakfast with my naked bowl of oatmeal, wishing I had packed some almond butter.
When I came back, I immediately made this. This was my first breakfast I had when I got home, and my sleep deprived self enjoy it IMMENSELY. I sat there in my bed, ate my smoothie bowl, and caught up on Netflix. Man it was a good morning. Then I took a nap! What could be better?
My current favorite Netflix binge watch is Prison Break. If you guys haven’t gotten on that train yet, what are you doing with yourself? My mom and I are OBSESSED (I repeat, OBSESSED), and we cry overtime we watch because Wentworth Miller is gay and we have no chance with him. In the words of mama Clark, “I’d consider an affair if he was single, straight and lived in San Diego.”
Besides Miller, the show is just SO addictive! The title is pretty self explanatory- this dudes trying to break his brother out of prison because the brother is wrongly accused of murdering someone. But besides that, it’s so complex and full of twists & turns. It’s challenging Gilmore Girls as my favorite show of all time, and that’s saying something.
So, make yourself this smoothie bowl and start binge watching Prison Break! You won’t regret either decision.
