Can you believe Thanksgiving is TOMORROW?!?!?!??! I can’t. Meanwhile, I’m on Thanksgiving break, and have been given the opportunity to ball girl for a WTA tennis tournament, which is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. It is very tiring, and it’s hard not to clap after a nice rally, but it’s quite the experience. Because of how tiring it is, I’m slacking on taking photos for a WIAT, so I compiled a day of photos from a few days ago. Enjoy!
I documented this on Sunday, which is usually my baking day. Thus, I don’t really eat a meal until dinner. In the morning, I baked up some Cranberry Dark Chocolate Muffins (recipe’s coming soon!) and haaaaddddd to try one ASAP. I paired it with some greek yogurt, bananas, and cinnamon for a light snack.
About an hour later, I whipped up an acai bowl made with two frozen bananas, an unsweetened acai pack, some frozen berries, and cashew milk. I paired it with more banana, Purely Elizabeth granola (duh), and some coconut. It was 80 degrees this day, hence the smoothie bowl.
My stomach seemed to be an endless pit this day, so about two hour laters I finished off a bag of green grapes (more was eaten before the photo), which has been my favorite snacky food lately, along with another muffin (gah, y’all are gonna love this recipe!)
Around 3:30, I began cooking again. I whipped up two recipes- my roasted walnut brussel sprout salad, as well as some roasted sweet potatoes with a maple tahini sauce (recipe’s coming soon). My entire family loved these!
For dinner, I basically put some veggies, potatoes, tempeh, cheese, and avocado in a bowl and called it dinner. I paired it with some tea to keep me warm!
My night snack was what I usually I have- cereal, a crumbled cookie (usually do EatPastry, but I wasn’t feeling it tonight) frozen fruit, and cinnamon with cashew milk poured over post photo. Gah, I love cereal so dang much.
What’s your go-to night time snack?
