I must say- I’m pretty proud of myself for all the new foods. During the school week, I usually stick to my same ole foods- especially during lunch. Not this week, though. I got some new things to show you, so lets begin!
Breakfast- Southern California was experiencing some MAJOR storms (flash floods, my power went out multiple times, thunder and lightning- the whole shebang). I’m used to them and love the sound of rain, expect when I’m driving, so (almost) no complaints. I was feelin lazy today for breakfast so I just had a greek yogurt bowl with all the fixins- cacao nibs, Purely Elizabeth granola, goji berries, Wild Friends chocolate coconut PB, and cranberries.
Somehow survived the drive to school, anddddd first period. Ate 1/2 of this KIND in-between classes to cure the HANGER that was brewing.
Lunch was a classic sandwich- something I hadn’t had in the longest time! Two slices of Food For Life ezekiel bread with 1/2 a mashed avocado, some turkey, mustard, and veggies. Ugly and delicious. I’m not a turkey person, but I’ve found this combo to be enjoyable 😉
Also had some unpictured bell pepper and hummus, which I naturally forgot to photograph.
Finished off the other 1/2 of the KIND bar during 6th period, and pulled out a That’s It! coconut + apple bar. I LOVE this flavor, and these bars for the record. When they sent them to me, I was confused as to how they could be made out of only two ingredients, and still am. But, the idea behind their bars is exactly what I stand for, and I can’t wait to try more flavors.
Forgot to photograph my afternoon snack (AGAIN, UGH), but it was just some avocado toast. So… here’s an old photo of some to please y’all.
Made a zoodle taco bowl for dinner, and boy is this a good recipe- can’t wait to share it with you guys!! All I can say- it basically describes me and my savory food pallet.
Night time snack after hours of homework was the usual cereal combo- DUHHHHH
Looking back, I really love how I said I ate different foods, when in reality, I had to recycle two photos and there was nothing super elaborate about my meals. Hope you enjoyed anyways!
