Oh hello fall (kinda). I’m very hesitant about November coming up, as I have the SAT on the 7th (oh my, let’s not talk about that). For now, let’s get on into the food!
I had returned from my Wisconsin trip and naturally, we didn’t have much food in our house. I improvised and made a GIGANTIC smoothie bowl with all the goods- frozen cherries, frozen berries, frozen peach, protein powder, cashew milk, and a bit of ice. I blended it all up and stuck it in the freezer for about 20 minutes- the thickness was un real. Topped it off with some Purely Elizabeth cereal puffs, coconut, frozen strawberries, and some BodyOm seeds.
As I’ve stated before, I eat a very early lunch at school, so I like to have more of a “snackier” (not a word, let’s move on) kind of lunch. I started off with some left over Ezekiel bread and mashed an avocado on it. As you can see, my avocado toast obsession translates to school nicely.
Also had some carrots with hummus and a vanilla Siggi’s on the side!
Pre-tennis snack was a good one: a Ginny’s bar (love this flavor!!) I got so excited when they sent me some products and I can’t wait to try more!
A biggggggg bowl of veggies (brussel sprouts, bell pepper, spinach, kale) with some tempeh and hummus. Such a great combo and with meal prep it took ten minutes to make!
See those sweet potatoes? I took them out of the bowl after the photo and saved ’em for later, along with some steamed broccoli with garlic powder (strange, but amazing).
Classic bowl of puffed kamut with some frozen cherries, another Ginny’s Bake cookie, and some cinnamon. Enjoyed this after a VERRRY long study sesh for APUSH.
That’s all for today folks!
