UGHHHHH- it’s too darn hot here in California. I hate complaining, but seriously. It’s supposed to be the end of summer, transitioning into fall. I am not down for still wearing tank tops and shorts on a daily basis. However, let’s get onto the food. I recored this on a weekend where I didn’t really have anything to do besides homework and football, so that is why there are less snacks. I am someone who likes bigger meals, and I feel like my body works well with that. Let’s begin!
This is the time I usually eat breakfast on Sunday’s. I take my rest day today, so I get to sleep in and enjoy my coffee. Also, I get sidetracked in football pre-game 😉 I made a big bowl of Zoats (recipe coming soon!) and added peach, San Granola granola, BodyOm pumpkin seeds, caramelized banana, and creamy almond butter. Sooo good!!
Got side tracked with writing an essay and watching football, so thankfully I had some frozen grapes to snack on. My mom picked up some large one this week, which are perfect for freezing.
I’m a late eater, what can I say? For lunch I whipped up a spicy sweet potato tempeh bowl (recipe coming soon.. so good!) with brussel sprouts over a bed of arugula. Took twenty minutes, which was perfect considering I was still working on that essay (insert annoyed emoji)
My Packers was playing on Sunday Night Football, so again, got side tracked. Lucky for me I had some prepped butternut squash. Paired perfectly with roasted veggies, shrimp, and avocado over some spinach. Again, I’ve been loving simple and quick meals recently as I’m crazy busy.
Ended my night with my classic cereal bowl (see my snapchat: tennishealthfit) so that’s all for today!
