They’re back!! WOOO!!
I’ve gotten a lot of messages and emails asking for these again, and while I’m not going to do these often, they are fun every so often. I love showing you guys my eats, and I know you guys do too! Also, this is the 3rd blog post I’ve written today, so excuse me if I write strange / weird things.
Now that it’s summer, I’m really focusing on the blog. I’ve been doing recipes every chance I get, especially since I started my new job as a grocery bagger. Today’s recipe turned out to be breakfast, which was a caramelized peach & strawberry french toast. GAH. It tasted like peaches & cream but WAY better. Probably my favorite recipe to date!
After I ate that, I went off to work on the blog, which included emails, writing posts, editing, and brain storming. The toast left me stuffed, which is saying something considering I’m always an endless pit. Therefore, I didn’t eat again until lunch time, which was yet another recipe. Like I said, I’ve been doing recipe’s almost everyday. I’m also leaving for camp in a few weeks, and I’m getting my wisdom teeth out two days after I get back, so I want to have the next month of posts ready to go.
Today’s lunch was a barbecue chicken and strawberry salad that I posted about a few days ago. I added on feta and avocado because #fats and #whynot.
After lunch, I went off to a three hour tennis clinic that included playing guys who are way better than me and somehow not dying from the heat. I like playing against better people because I find my game improves, so no complaints here.
I was a HANGRY mess when I came home, so I grabbed one of these Super Pop Snacks to hold me over until dinner. These are SO good, and pack a ton of flavor. I also love the fact that they’re mostly peanut / almond butter 😉
I made a SUPER quick dinner of veggies, chickpeas, sweet potato, barley, and feta added afterwards for dinner before I left to hang out with my friends. I massaged the kale in olive oil and baked the chickpeas + sweet potato for about twenty minutes. Classic.
After I saw my friends, I came home and had a G2G bar, which have been my current OBSESSION. As you can tell, I’m loving peanut and/or almond butter things lately, so I knew I was gonna have one of these. I watched an episode of Prison Bread (MY CURRENT OBSESSION), read my book, and went to bed about an hour later.
