Who else had Yale > Baylor?!
I DID! I DID! While I may have had Michigan St. winning the entire thing, which we know won’t happen now, I did have Yale and Providence winning their games, so I’ll take pride in that! Anyways, I’m also taking pride in the fact that I remembered to take photos of everything I ate one day- minus a snack- so lets begin!
I ate oatmeal everyday this week, with zero shame. I blame bad lighting- it ruins my meal creativity. Plus, oatmeal is always the answer in my opinion.
Today’s combo- banana, hemp hearts, creamy almond butter, Purely Elizabeth granola, fresh berries, and walnuts, which add such a nice crunch!!
As you guys know, I can’t eat snacks during my first two classes, so I’m always starving by the time lunch comes. I switched it up today and had this sandwich combo, which I posted on my Instagram. It was SOOOOOO good, and the beet hummus adds such a great flavor!!
Also had a peach and an unpictured Siggi’s on the side!
Around 1:30, I felt the last period hunger coming up, so I grabbed this GoMacro bar out of my backpack. I hadn’t had this flavor in such a long time and I forgot how much I liked it!! Everyone should give em a try- highly highly recommend.
When I got home, I had yet another avocado craving. So, for an afternoon snack, I grabbed some leftover rice cakes and avocado, paired em together, and wrote a nice (and very long) AP US HISTORY DBQ. Oh, the joys!
Like I said, I had a DBQ to write, so dinner was the quickest thing since sliced bread. I won a Veestro frozen meal with some steamed veggies, beet hummus, homemade pesto, nutritional yeast, and more avocado (my avocado kick recently >>>)
Seriously, this lasagna was AMAZING!!!! I’m recreating it asap because I cannot live without it 😉
A few hours later, after I finished homework, I was brain dead, so my night time snack was a QuestBar I found at Sprouts on sale along with a giant spoonful of Eat Nuttzo nut butter. Man, this hit the spot.
About an hour later, I hit the hay and called it a night. That’s all for today- see you foodies soon!
