Hey foodies! Today I’m comin at you with another What I Ate Today, but this one has a twist- I’m under the weather. For the past two weeks I’ve had a horrible cold (anyone else??), and when I get sick, my eating habits change. Not drastically, but I do eat differently then I normally do. Let’s begin!
Same ol same ol. These oats (egg whites, cauliflower, and chia seeds added in for protein, volume, and fiber) are such a classic- berry’s and bananas. I was craving chocolate in the nut butter form, so I whipped out some of my Eat Nuttzo choclate PB and paired with the oats. Also topped it with natures candy, hemp hearts- I PUT THESE ON EVERYTHING- and some Purely Elizabeth granola. Post photo was tons of cinnamon and more oats because I didn’t want the bowl to overflow in the photo and spill everywhere (the struggle was b b real).
Something new- again!! I’m on a roleeeeee 😉 Since I was under the weather, I packed some of my veggie soup that I made and paired it with some bread (Julian Bakery) and some cheese sticks (another one unpictured). The bread is okay- I’m still getting used to the taste, but it’s growing on me!
Also had some unpictured carrots and hummus before 7th period, but naturally, I forgot to photograph.
I was a hangry mess after school, but some Wallaby Greek Yogurt did just the trick 😉
Okay this was actually amazing. I had a russet potato laying around, so I baked it along side some roasted veggies (brussel sprouts and kale mixed with coconut oil and garlic powder). Also had some caramelized onions (YAS) and some lemon pepper chicken with avocado! Our lemon tree is in full bloom, so I’m taking advantage 😉
The night time hunger came up after some more studying, so I went with the classic 😉
